My Rythmia experince was more transformational than I ever could have imagined. My feeling of safety and support was through the roof and clear through the milky way galaxy. I felt bonded to everyone from the first day and John Paul kept the lightness and laughter coming. John Paul ALONE was worth the price of admission! Talk about above and beyond. Truly, a one in a million man, your hand (and especially your heart), will be held tenderly and thoroughly from the moment you arrive til the moment you leave (IF you leave!). Give yourself the time to stay two weeks if you can. Flights on southwest are 100% refundable to near moment of your flight so do book with Southwest so you have the flexibility to stay should you choose. The medicine men and women (ladies night was the BLEST!!!) are responsible, courteous, kind, generous, and supportive. There are nearly just as many helpers as there are attendees so you will feel engulfed in support. Floating in the salt water pool is healing after a long night with the medicine and the included massage, colonic, and sauna access was also very healing. Our bedding felt heavenly! Such cozy blankets and pillows... very healing after those long nights... The grounds are gorgeous... there were butterflies flying about near constantly (I attended in June) and the vision of the Makaw family that guards the Maloka (the ceremonial space) was enchanting! Our sacred nests (the beds and blankets in the Maloka during ceremony) were also super comfortable. The music during our ceremonies was outstanding and our Yoga Teacher, Victor, was someone I can see myself following for the rest of my life! I also met one of my hero's, Jack Canfield who offered a talk on the Law of Attraction which is what my book is about that I was writing while down in Costa Rica! Talk about serendipity!! There was even a pregnant kitty on site who would up have kittens while I was there. What a treat!! The food was outstanding... though for those of us who are plant based, I felt there was a lack in daily plant based protein offerings and I think having tofu available daily would be a smart move. That is really the ONLY thing I found lacking at Rythmia. I felt so supported by every staff member there too. People remember your name and greet you all the time.
