"Another Wonderful Visit To This Wonderful Place"
Just home from my second visit to Rythmia. My first was in June 2023 and both stays were two weeks in length. I have also read all the negative reviews. Rythmia is the only place I have experienced ayahuasca. It was recommended by someone I met on a flight in May 2023. I called and booked a stay for the following week. Safety and comfort were critical to my decision as I was not seeking a recreational experience. Those areas of concern were met and exceeded my expectations. As a matter of fact on this trip, my hot water wasn't quite hot enough and after a visit to the front desk, it was adjusted within 20 minutes. They also found my eyeglass case, ankh and journal that I lost or misplaced during ceremony or at the pool. The joys of turning 60 yr old!!! They have you covered. Haha!!! In my opinion, which is based on 4 weeks of experience at Rythmia, it is not easy. It requires tremendous courage, strength, perseverance, and determination. It also requires immense trust, the willingness to surrender and the ability turn inward while turning off the mind/ego and tuning into the heart while tuning out the many distractions occurring during ceremony. Much more easily said than done. Feeling over thinking. At least that's what I've learned so far. This carries over to life as well, I am learning. Trust the process. By the end of each week, I have witnessed remarkable transformations in so many of my fellow participants. I am not any form of social media and subsequently have not stayed in touch with many of my group-mates, but there were at least 5 former participants from my June 2023 visit at my most recent stay. I also met a participant from my wife's August 2023 group. Overall, I love the place, the people, the program and encourage anyone to call to see if it feels right. I plan to return again in the next 6-12 months. Hope this has been helpful and wish everyone well wherever your journey takes you.
