I'd like to share my experience at Rythmia. Initially, I thought I was going to do mushrooms and run around the forest naked (not really), but I was wrong. I didn't expect to dive into the abyss of my soul and explore what was lurking within. However, I needed it more than I realized. I returned to Rythmia in January for a touch-up and a spiritual carwash. The experience was challenging, but it was also the most beautifully hard thing I have ever done for myself! The facility and accommodations are incredible. The grounds are meticulously maintained, and the facilities are incredibly clean. The staff is something out of a spiritual Disney or McDonald's playbook. They are all so kind and gracious, creating a very safe environment where you can let down your guard and heal. The emphasis is on the medicine, not a yoga retreat, although the yoga classes are incredible. The second time around tied in beautifully with the first, like a beautiful puzzle with pieces all coming together. It's deep and hard work, but if you want to get to a deeper place of healing, this is the Autobahn of that journey! But, if you think it's just a fun ride and want to trip out, please do not go! You will ruin it for the people there for serious healing. You have to be willing to learn more about yourself than any therapy in the world will teach you. The emphasis here is on YOU, and YOU HAVE TO WANT TO. If you go into this with the right intentions and follow through with traversing the muddy waters of your soul, then you will have a fulfilling experience. Forget about the people around you; they are all there for the same reason: healing and growth! I read a review earlier that was less pleasant, but it's because they didn't go into it with the right mindset. This is deep hard work, and you have to be willing. I will be doing this every year as it's an incredible opportunity to stay on the path of consciousness and growth. You can also leave any sense of entitlement at home, please... If you have the means, I would recommend staying a couple of days after and giving yourself the space to be with yourself and your newfound love for life and nature! Do it! You will not regret it!
