I was encouraged to attend after my partners parents spent a week here. As a person who is interested in the nature of consciousness I was open to the possibility of experiencing a new way of being. I went with my partner who also has a lot of experience in the traditional “personal development” space filled with organizations like PSI and Landmark so the discomfort of growth isn’t new for us. My expectations weren’t even in the same reality as my experience. I was hoping to “be less apathetic” and to improve my ability to listen and be present with myself, others, and the environment and brought that in as my intention. What I left with is a new found love of life, a relationship with my partner that is sweeter and more exciting than ever, and a deep rooted trust. Being at Rythmia has cracked me open in the most beautiful way. I love the team, the ceremonies, and the new life friends I’ve made. I’d recommend this to anyone who is interested in doing the work to create the life they long for. Maybe I’ll see you there! You’ll probably find me dancing or looking at animals (they have Macaws!)
