My week at Rythmia was truly life changing and transformational. First of all I was very nervous about it but I knew I wanted to go for it because I am all about personal growth and I had heard so many amazing stories, and I'd seen first hand the shift in my husband who had gone last fall. Upon arrival I immediately felt taken care of and the resort itself is so beautiful and the staff is always extremely friendly and ready to help with anything and everything. You have a medical intake your first or second day and that made me feel the safety of the program. There is 24 hour medical staff available for anything that may pop up. The food is amazing and the spa like accommodations are top notch. But the plant medicine ceremonies are absolutely mind blowing. Wow! It's hard to put it into words really, but before the first night of ceremony I felt like I had been fully prepared and I knew what to expect, what to do, and how to set my intentions. You are fully supported along your whole journey. The curriculum they have for you on each day is also transformative, and then of course the true magic happens when you take the medicine. I will say that I let go of decades old trauma from my childhood that I wasn't even aware was buried deep inside of me. Thus I realized the why behind many of my patterns in my life that I was ready to let go of. And then I truly was able to let go of those things. Now that I"m home, I feel free from the things that I released and no longer trapped in the old patterns and loops that I was playing out. All in all, it was such a beautiful experience, and I feel blessed that I have already booked my next trip for this fall! If you are someone who has thought about this for a long time, or just feel called to do it, go for it! You will never regret it- you'll be so grateful you did.
