I had the most life changing experience at Rythmia. My back story is I went in broken. I have been using drugs since the age of 19 but have been functioning. I have been successful with work but over the past couple of years my relationships began deteriorating and I began isolating more and more. I lost my magnetism and enjoyment for life. You can make as much money as you want, but once you've lost your spark it's hard to get it back. I did therapy for years, EMDR, Reiki, you name it! I took Adderall every day which was keeping me in a state of fight or flight and lead to me needing to medicate at night with weed to come down and alcohol and coke on the weekends. I even figured out the formula to make it work for myself so I didn't have to give up Adderall and coke. I went to therapy because I wanted to kick the drugs without going to treatment and having to live in "I want it but I can't have it" for the rest of my life. That is not where I want to be, always waiting for a relapse only to fall back into it. At Rythmia I felt so cared for. Every class and practice throughout the week built the foundation for me. The staff first and foremost is the best of the best! I felt so cared for while I was there, during ceremony, and all around. The meals were amazing and did they ever help me detox. The rooms were nice and comfortable. My only complaint there was no blow dryer or full length mirrors. I didn't want to stare in the mirror all day, I just wanted to make sure I matched. They did bring me a blow dryer upon request. That was my only complaint (SERIOUSLY THE ONLY ONE). For what I received while I was there, you could have removed the bathroom mirror and not supplied a blow dryer and I would still give this place 11 stars. I had a spiritual death and rebirth. My soul has completely reconnected with my body and I am me again. Oh yeah- and I am completely sober and the thought doesn't even cross my mind. My magnetism and spark is back. I am back!!! I cannot thank you enough to Rythmia and all of the staff that dedicate their life to helping others heal. Rythmia is heaven on earth!!!
