Yesterday I turned 40, and I’ve never felt more grateful to be alive. 💛 This past week, my husband and I went on an ayahuasca journey that became the most profound, beautiful experience of my entire life. I didn’t know a single week could change me this deeply, but it did. Ayahuasca opened my heart in a way I didn’t even realize I needed. It showed me the beauty in myself, in the world, in humanity, and in the people around me. It softened parts of me I thought would always be guarded, and brought light into places I didn’t even know were still dark. It felt like remembering something I had forgotten… like coming home to myself. I saw love more clearly. I saw truth more honestly. And I saw me with a compassion I’ve never experienced. There was no better gift I could’ve given myself for my 40th birthday. My gift was this awakening. This healing. This chance to begin a new decade with a completely open heart. I came home with joy in my bones, clarity in my mind, and a deep peace in my soul. Stepping into 40 feels like stepping into a new version of myself, one that is softer, stronger, and free. Here’s to this new chapter, this new light, and to seeing the world, and myself, in a way I never have before. 🌿✨💛
