It's hard to describe the experience at Rythmia. To borrow a phrase from one of the faciltators that I heard on day 2, "the whole week is one big ceremony." For me, that's how it was. And that is how it has continued to be. The ceremony exists still. Aho, how great it is! Truly amazing. And what I mean by that is this: my experience of ceremony - the purging, the consulta, the visions, the presence of Mother Aya, the insights, the gifts, the omens, the synchronicities - it has all be non-linear and continuous. It started literally when I first booked my first trip to Rythmia. When I first said "yes" to the call. I am heading back only 3 months after my first trip, because that is what my life-ceremony said. I don't think that most people are called to come back a second time, let alone so recent as my story, but I definitively believe that anyone who comes here willing to learn, to grow, to heal, and to undergo whatever temporary suffering it takes - they will surely echo ~ there is no better time or money spent. And the staff! The shamans! The curanderos y curanderas, musiceros y musiceras! The gardeners and maid service and kitchen staff. The front desk and the folks at the spa. Gerry and Jeff and all their friends. Literally everyone who works here is a five out of five star ... there must be something in the water.
