"A Truly Life-Changing Experience — Beyond Words"
Visiting Rythmia Life Advancement Center in Costa Rica was, without question, one of the most profound and transformative experiences of my life. First off, I will try to address everyone by name. I made a point to write down as many names as I could at the time. There were alot more people who were wonderful that I may not mention. I was greeted at the airport by Byron. He was very welcoming and he drove extremely safe. (Which I can appreciate) The staff greeted me with such kindness and authenticity. Luis and others were all very organized with the check in process. They even called to Roots restaurant to have the staff prepare lunch for us since we arrived after lunch had ended. The medical staff were amazing as well. I had allergies and forgot my allergy medicine and they were so kind to give me a hand full for the week. The entire experience is so thoughtfully and lovingly designed. The plant medicine ceremonies were deeply healing. Each ceremony brought insights, release, and moments of clarity that I’ve never felt before. The shamans were incredible—deeply grounded, wise, and supportive in a way that helped me feel safe as I navigated the journey. Oscar, Ronny, Chris, Waleska, Maru, Carolina, and Mitra were amazing and made me feel safe. Mitra specifically asked me when I approached for second cup if I felt safe. Thank you! Chris had a very intense ceremony but it was organized and perfect. He might be my favorite for ceremonies. The healing circle is also my favorite. The music, chanting and singing were absolutely beautiful. I loved the combination of music and chanting. The singing from Mauricio and Shane were awesome and had me really connected to the medicine. Ladies night was a night to get up and dance! Beautiful singing voices and music all night. Thank you to all of the holistic staff that are there in the ceremonies to help heal us. There are so many that I can't individually name. Beyond the ceremonies, every day was filled with tools and practices that supported true inner transformation. The breathwork sessions were powerful and cathartic. The yoga classes each morning were gentle and centering with instructors Duane and Victor, and the integration workshops helped me understand and ground the insights I received into real, lasting change. Thank you John Jacob and Meg. Ben Decker was the counselor on site and super helpful when I was having a difficult time. He is kind and a good listener. Sally is also an amazing soul who I enjoy talking to. One thing that really stood out to me was the balance of spiritual depth and medical professionalism. Knowing there was a full-time 24 hours medical team present gave me the reassurance I needed to fully surrender to the experience. The food was phenomenal—nourishing and fresh. Every meal felt like an extension of the healing process. The accommodations were comfortable with everyday room cleaning. Even the pool and spa services were therapeutic! They have the best massages at Rythmia. What made Rythmia truly exceptional was the sense of community. I connected deeply with others on the same path of healing, and those bonds have continued even after returning home. I left Rythmia feeling lighter, freer, and more aligned with who I truly am. I am filled with gratitude for every person who works there and for the sacred space they’ve created. If you're considering it and feel even the slightest pull—go. Your soul will thank you.
